Saco Beaches: Bay View, Camp Ellis, & Kinney Shores. Apr. 1–Sep. 30, leashed dogs allowed.

York Beaches: Cape Neddick, York Harbor, Long Sands, Short Sands, Steadman Woods.
May 20–Sep. 20, dogs allowed off-leash sunrise to 8 a.m. Leashed dogs only 6 p.m. to sunset.

Crescent Beach, & Seapoint Beach, Kittery. May 15–Sep. 30, dogs licensed to Kittery residents only. Jun. 15–Sep. 10, no dogs 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Drake’s Island, Wells. Jun. 15 to Sep. 15, leashed dogs allowed before 8 a.m. and after 6 p.m.

East End Beach, Eastern Promenade. Memorial Day to Labor Day, dogs allowed off-leash before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m.

Fort Foster Park, Kittery Point. Leashed dogs allowed on the beach at all times.

Gooch’s, Middle & Mother’s Beaches, Kennebunk. Jun. 15 to Labor Day, dogs allowed before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m.

Goose Rocks & Colony Beaches, Kennebunkport. Apr. 1–Jun. 14, dogs allowed off-leash 6–7:30 a.m. Must be leashed after 7:30 a.m. Jun. 15–Sep. 30, dogs allowed off-leash 6–7:30 a.m., leashed 7:30–8:30 a.m., and after 6 p.m.

Hadley Point Beach, Bar Harbor. Leashed dogs allowed at all times.

Hendrick’s Beach, Southport Island. Off-leash dogs allowed. Must be under voice control.

Laite Beach Park, Camden. May 1 to Sep. 30, dogs allowed 6 a.m.–8 a.m., and 6 p.m.–10 p.m.

Old Orchard Beach, Memorial Day to Labor Day, dogs allowed on the beach before
10 a.m. and after 5 p.m.

Scarborough Beaches: Pine Point, Ferry, & Higgins Beaches, Apr. 1 to Labor Day, dogs allowed within designated areas. May 15 to Labor Day, leashed dogs allowed 5 p.m. to dusk.

Seapoint Beach, Kittery Point. Jun. 15–Sep. 10, dogs allowed before 10 a.m. and after 5 p.m.

Stover’s Point Preserve, Harpswell. Memorial Day to Labor Day, leashed dogs allowed 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Off-leash allowed before 10 a.m. and after 5 p.m. Must be under the voice control.

Wells Beach, Sep. 16 to Jun. 15, dogs allowed any time. Jun. 16–Sep. 15, dogs allowed before 6 a.m. and after 6 p.m.

Willard Beach, South Portland. Oct. 1–Apr. 30, dogs allowed off-leash 6 a.m.–9 p.m. Dogs must be kept within 100 feet of owner. May 1 to Sep. 30, dogs allowed 7 a.m.–9 a.m. and 7 p.m.–9 p.m.
