What is it about The Goldenrod that lingers in your mind to this day?
I’ve been going to The Goldenrod for more than four decades. It’s one of those places that connects the Maine I knew as a child to the Maine I inhabit now. And I love the fact that I can pass along my appreciation of their peanut butter taffy–truly the best I’ve ever found–to the next generation (my daughter).

If Stephen King transforms into a Plymouth Fury, what would you transform into?
A 1979 Subaru Brat.
