Now here’s an interesting development on the Saco River in hidden Biddeford.

Remember the TV series Hart to Hart? If the millionaire detectives played by Stephanie Powers and Robert Wagner had kept a little place on the Saco River, this would be it! 

“The design was inspired by my parents’ trips to Acapulco,” says builder/developer Michael Payeur, the listing agent. “It was Mom and Dad’s dream home. My father, the late Fern Payeur, designed and built the house in 1975. We moved in in 1976. They’d waited for years for this plot of land to come up for sale,” just driving by and sighing. “He told my mom, ‘If the property ever goes up for sale, I’ll buy it!’ He was supervising Anchorage Bay, his new development at Biddeford Pool, when she saw it and called him.”
