A wild & crazy summer sparks a wild & scary film.

The first time we heard the ghost story, we were stuck in a car on the Park Loop Road in the hammering rain. My wife Carolyn and I rode with Acadia, named for the park. Our daughter was nine. We’d met up with friends from New York, and together we’d gotten caught in one of those furious downpours Maine gets a few times every summer, like an attack of locusts in an old movie.
