Roux Institute adds a dash of high-tech to the Portland waterfront.

David Roux—entrepreneur, corporate executive, financier, and philanthropist—was born in Lewiston to parents whose careers and passions foreshadowed his own. Connie Longley, his mother, was a computer programmer with New England Telephone. His father, Donald, was a banker who coached high school sports, chairman of the Lewiston school board, a member of the local Rotary Club, and head of the region’s United Way. Shared family interests include technology, education, environmental conservation, and health paved the way for David.
